My cover of β€œDiana”. Paul Anka was just 15 years old (1957) when he wrote this song about his unrequited love for Diana Ayoub, who was five years older, and would sometimes babysit his younger brother and sister. Anka said, “She really didn’t want anything to do with me, which made it even worse.” When school started back up in September, Anka didn’t return he was busy touring.
The family moved from Ottawa to New Jersey,
and set up a publishing and management operation to support his career.
