This song by Pure Prairie League was first released as a single off their second album in 1973. Record sales were soft and when the band’s founder, singer/guitarist/songwriter Craig Fuller, was jailed for draft evasion later that year, their record company dropped them. The band started to tour again with new personnel and this song began to become a favourite at the US colleges they played at. Radio stations started to get requests for it, so their record company resigned them and re-released the single in 1975, where it reached #27 on the US charts. A cover of “Amie”.
