Lightfoot broke into the US market with his song, If You Could Read my Mind off the album Sit Down Young Stranger. His next album was a departure from that intimate mood when he brought in drums and kicked it up a notch with Summer Side of Life in 71.

That’s a different play on the song Greg. 👏👏👏 I was growing up in Windsor when the Detroit riot happened. Still saw and heard stuff from the other side of the river.
