With only his vocal, a Martin D-28 and a recording of a common blackbird singing in the background, the beautiful calmness of the original recording stands in contrast to the struggles of black Americans in the southern US in the 1960’s which McCartney wrote about while he was playing on his guitar in Scotland. This is a cover of “Blackbird”.
