A cover of “A Place in the Sun”, a 1966 soul single by Stevie Wonder. Not your generic Motown music, labelled as a soul song, maybe a little country, maybe a little gospel. It was Wonder’s third top ten hit. Considering it was recorded in the mid-sixties, definitely contains social commentary. And I am shocked to think some of those struggles are today being re-animated.
