Here’s Richard Thompson’s “52 Vincent Black Lightning.” There are a couple of anomalies in this one. The Black Lightning was the fastest production bike when it was built and there were only 31 made. Given the performance and rarity it is one of the most expensive motorcycles ever built, so probably way beyond the means of a young London thug. It also didn’t have an ignition key. If you know the Del McCoury version you may notice that I left the lyric at the original Box Hill, outside London, rather than relocating the song to Knoxville. I promise to put the ukulele away soon!

That’s a peppy number for the uke! Nicely done!

Thanks Joe – we need to do a uke circle somewhere!
well done.

The uke songs are fun.
Never heard that song before. Well spotted
Well done John
TMC – Richard’s version is great, but check out the cover by Australian Jeff Lang
