Cover of “Rainbow Connection” from “The Muppet Movie”. It’s a nice song, the melody can be a little challenging, and I love playing it. It was the first song in the movie, intended to establish the character of the lead, Kermit the Frog, much as “Over the Rainbow” did in “The Wizard of Oz”. Written by Paul Williams and Kenneth Ascher, nominated for an Oscar, and covered over 30 times, including by the likes of Willie Nelson, Gwen Stefani and Barbra Streisand.

Great – except you have to sing it with a Kermit voice!
Thanks Bryan much appreciated! 😊 I’ll checkout the album – I always try to play a few songs for children when I play at the Woodbridge Farmer’s market (when they fully re-open) and the Woodbridge Fair.

Nicely done Joe! Have you heard Kenny Loggins’ version? He put out an album of lullabyes a few years ago and he included this one on it.
