āIām Gonna Be (500 Miles)ā is a song from the Scottish duo The Proclaimers, (twin brothers Craig and Charlie Reid). The song was written mainly by brother Craig in August 1987 while waiting to travel to a Hibernian Football Club match in Aberdeen. It was originally released in 1988 but became a really big hit around the world in 1993 after appearing in the movie “Benny and Joon”. And playing it gives one a nice workout! Here is my cover of the song.
Well done Joe! For whatever reason, that song reminds me of watching a soccer game. Must be watching too much of the Euro Cup! š®š¹ š“ó §ó ¢ó „ó ®ó §ó æ ā½ļø
