Michael Howitt

Harry Chapin wrote this song for the TV show “Make a Wish” which was hosted by his brother Tom Chapin. It quickly became a fan favourite at Harry’s live concerts and he would perform it at the end of his shows, encouraging the audience to sing along even have members of his band and crew sing the chorus. From his 1972 album “Sniper and Other Love Songs”, this is a cover of “Circle”.

  1. Wonderfully performance of this lovely song Michael! 👏👏👏 I had the pleasure of seeing Harry Chapin years ago at Massey Hall. 👍

    1. Thanks Joe! We saw him at Convocation Hall at UofT. Best concert I have ever seen. Such a great storyteller and entertainer.

  2. Nice job on my favourite Harry Chapin song. Never saw Harry, but saw Tom a few times. Tom has some really good children’s albums.

  3. I was just the right age to watch ‘Make a Wish’ every Saturday morning.
You did a bang up job on this classic.
