Here’s Basin Street Blues – A hit for Louis Armstrong in 1925! It’s a historical song telling the story of a meeting place for trade in New Orleons ! It’s a jazz blues song not a 12 bar blues. It has complex musical structure . Many people who played in high school bands have played this song which will go on for another 100 years!
