Warren Zevon wrote this song after being diagnosed with terminal lung cancer. It ended up being the last song he ever recorded. He passed away in 2003 at the age of 56. This is a cover of “Keep Me in Your Heart”.

Warren Zevon was a tremendous talent – nice job! Interesting side project was the Hindu Love Gods, which was Warren fronting REM, less their lead singer Michael Stipe.
